Marco Orlandi

Marco is a registered Specialist Periodontist practicing in Salisbury and treats patients on a referral basis.

He completed specialty training in Periodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute and holds the Membership in Periodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.

In his academic career, he has been awarded a PhD at Eastman Dental Institute on the association between gum and heart disease and subsequently appointed a post as a Clinical Lecturer. He has authored more than 25 scientific publications in international peer reviewed journals and lectured extensively at national and international conferences.

Marco has extensive experience in the treatment of gum recession and management of gum disease and peri-implantitis. He works closely with our hygienist to achieve long-term periodontal health for our patients and to improve their overall quality of life.

Further, he plays a key role in our implant team and collaborates with our other specialists providing the very latest techniques for replacement of missing teeth with dental implants. 

His aim is to remain on the cutting edge of the advancements in his field and to provide comprehensive treatment within a multi-disciplinary approach that is customised for each patient.
