Crystal Marrunganti

Crystal is a Periodontist practicing in Salisbury and treats patients on a referral basis.

She completed her training as a research fellow at the University of Pisa before gaining her PhD in Siena.  She is currently an Affiliate PhD candidate in Periodontology at Eastman Dental Institute in London.

In her academic career, she has been well published with multiple papers in international peer reviewed journals and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Osseointergration – section in periodontics.

She has won many awards including the M. H. Goldman prize for Best Basic Research by Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology, and the Robert Frank prize for best Senior Clinical Research.

She is a member of the Italian and British Society of Periodontology (SIdP & BSP) and International Association for Dental Research (IADR).

She uses a highly advanced and evidence-based approach to treatment within our multi-disciplinary team and works closely with our hygienist to achieve long-term periodontal health for all our patients to improve their overall quality of life.  She strives for a gold standard of treatment for all of her patients.
